Hide-And-Seek

Children play hide-and-seek while family relax by the water at the park on Main Street in Boerne, Texas on Saturday afternoon.

Finding photo topics

I always remember my professor told me some 30 years ago when I first started my photojournalism class. He said, "Smart rats know where the cheese is." He was using this expression to tell us that as a photojournalist, you have to be always aware of your environment and pay attention to them in a photography sense.
This blog photo posting, wild art photo for the Ranger and even picture stories for the Ranger are all done with this concept in mind.
If you want to be a happy, non-starving mouse, you don't want to wait for food fall in front of you. You go find it. Be actively looking for it. Plan on it and prepare for it.

3 assignments for April

Please do not forget that you need to have at least 3 assignments done for the Ranger in April. However, if your total number of assignments do not add up to 10 after the 3 assignments, you will have to do one more this semester.
It is the date you shoot it that count, not the date that you turn in. And the self-critique needs to be turn in within 1 week after the assignment is done.
